I've never had a problem PXE booting this way. I have two HP ProCurve 1400-8G unmanaged switches in the two locations I image systems, as I needed more than just one or two ports for the things I need to work on. They were successful in placing a small unmanaged switch between your system and the network port and it will probably work. Upon looking up the PXE-51 error, several others have mentioned this being due to Spanning Tree Protocol being enabled on that particular VLAN when using Cisco switches. I have DHCP Option 67 set to Boot\x86\ and can boot both legacy and UEFI systems to image using MDT. efi) set in DHCP Option 67 should not matter. You could also upload the pcap of the failed pxe boot to a google drive and either post the link or IM me the link and I'll take a look at it. With wireshark I would use the following capture filter (without the double quotes) port 67 or port 68 or port 69 If you want to DIY it, compare the captures of one system that works and the one that doesn't to see what is going sideways. The other thing you can do is if you have wireshark on a computer connected to the same vlan as the dhcp server and target computer (or just the target computer if you must) you can capture this dhcp conversation to see what is failing. You can test this by placing a very dumb (unmanaged) switch between the pxe booting computer and the building switch, if it boots then its probably a spanning tree issue with the building switch. My initial reaction is that the new computer is not plugged into the same network port as the working pxe boot system, and that spanning tree is getting in the way of the dhcp process. The first and the third are sent by the target computer and the second and fourth by the dhcp server. You have to remember that a dhcp process has 4 statges, Discover, Offer, Request, Ack. What the no offer received error is that the target computer sent out a dhcp discover packet but no one responded with a valid offer.

If you have other uefi systems but this one fails that is a bit strange. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version available on the HP website This method of UEFI PXE Boot has worked fine on the 250 G5
